Executive Enterprise Prepares for Lupus Awareness Event

Executive Enterprise's senior manager detailed an upcoming volunteer event. She also discussed how giving back helps recruiting and team building.

Company leaders at Executive Enterprise are constantly finding new ways to give back to the community. “We understand the value of supporting those in need,” said Jaclyn Zepernick, the firm’s senior manager. “Our team is looking forward to helping the Lupus Alliance of Long Island/Queens with their upcoming fundraiser. We are honored to help the group spread awareness of this autoimmune disorder while we raise money to help those affected by it.”

The Executive Enterprise team will be taking part in the group’s 22nd annual “Walk-Along for Lupus” event on October 18. Jaclyn stated, “This is such a fun and family-friendly event. There is going to be live music, face painting, and giveaways. Every dollar raised goes to local families affected by lupus.” Donations to the walk will help fund new support programs and outreach efforts. “We are excited to be part of the solution for people in the area who are struggling with this disease,” the senior manager added.

The Lupus Alliance of Long Island/Queens has helped those with lupus and their families since 1955. “Members of the alliance range from 10 to 80 years of age,” added the senior manager. “This diverse membership shows that lupus affects entire families and people from all phases of life. We at Executive Enterprise are happy to do our part to fight the disease.”

Executive Enterprise’s Senior Manager Outlines the Wide-Ranging Benefits of Giving Back

Jaclyn and the leaders at Executive Enterprise realize that giving back offers practical value to a company. “We get a great feeling every time we volunteer,” the senior manager noted. “However, we also see real positives for our business when we give back to the community.”

Team building is a key focus among the firm’s leaders. Volunteering is one of the best ways to forge the bonds between team members. Jaclyn explained, “When our associates work together to help a worthy cause, they learn more about each other. They already know their colleagues have ample skill as professionals. Joining forces for a giveback event helps them discover shared values and skills that might not emerge in the office.”

Focusing on giving back also helps Executive Enterprise’s leaders with their recruiting efforts. “Ambitious professionals want to make a difference in the world,” Jaclyn commented. “They want to know that their employers share that drive. That’s one small reason why we are always looking for new ways to expand our commitment to charitable events and to help those in need.”
